Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe
Longchamp
3.15pm (BST)
Today's Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe is the richest race in Europe and the winner will take down a purse of nearly £2 million. It is the most prestigious of all the end of season Group 1 races, and attracts all of the best middle distance horses as well as this season's best 3-year-olds. It is the youngsters that have dominated the race in recent years, and no fewer than 14 of the last 17 races have been won by 3-year-olds.

These are today's" lays":
5.35 Ascot
I will be taking on SANS LOI in the Place Market here on Betfair. There is zero market confidence in the animal and his form is nothing to write home about. There are at least half a dozen in the race I would rather back than this one, which makes him a "lay" in my book. I will be looking to lay him at around the 3.0 mark.

These are the horses I will be laying at Wolverhampton tonight:
5.45 Wolverhampton
I can't back RIFLESSIONE here. His trainer has a lousy record at Wolves and you can't back it with any confidence based on recent form. The price is too high to lay it in the Win Market so I will risk laying it in the Place Market. There are certainly more than three horses in this race that can finish in front of him, although if he runs like he did when he was a C&D winner in March last year, he will do so. You should be able to lay him in the Place Market at around 3.0.
7.15 Wolverhampton
I'm going to take a chance with this one because there only look to be two horses in the race that can beat him. My issue with the favourite, LIGHT WELL, is the price, so that is why I am going to be laying him. I don't think he should be an odds-on price (currently 1.97 to lay) so that is why he should be taken on. Although he should shape better than his debut in a Doncaster maiden, I reckon the race could be won by a more experienced type.
BR Betting Advice:
£50 lay Riflessione in the 5.45 Wolverhampton at 3.0 on Betfair (Place Market)
£50 lay Light Well in the 7.15 Wolverhampton at 1.97 on Betfair (Win Market)

I have taken a look at this evening's race meeting at Kempton and reckon these are the horses to lay there:
7.40 Kempton
There are enough question marks over the favourite, MALOOF, in this race for me to take him on at around 2/1. He was a very disappointing favourite over 1m at Nottingham in his last race. Today he has to race over another half a mile and that is not guaranteed to suit him, although he is a half-brother to several winners over that trip. At a bigger price I would back him but at 2.92 to lay on Betfair at present I think he is worth taking on.

These are the horses I will be looking to lay at this afternoon's race meetings:
4.40 Salisbury
The Rod Millman-trained GEORGE THISBY has never won over 7f and finds himself running over 1m today. I think there's a good chance he will find at least one too good so will be laying him in the Win Market on Betfair at around 7.0.
5.20 Newcastle
The horse I have in my sights here is FIBS AND FLANNEL. The Tim Easterby-trained gelding has not been in the frame in his last 11 runs and is seriously out of form. I can't see a reason why he will suddenly improve today so will be taking him on in the Place Market on Betfair at around the 3.5-4.0 mark.Only three need to beat him home in this race for us to get paid and without doing too much research I can see at least half a dozen who will finish in front of him.
BR Betting Advice:
£50 lay George Thisby in the 4.40 Salisbury at up to 7.0 on Betfair (Win Market)
£50 lay Fibs And Flannel in the 5.20 Newcastle at up to 4.0 on Betfair (Place Market)
